Dear Families,
We had a short but busy week in 413! One we started our Fall/Autumn Study with an observational drawing of an apple. One of the important skills we are working on in Pre-K are our observation skills, this skill will help us become future scientists as we create theories, ask questions and figure out how to find the answers. As you are taking a walk with your child, ask them to describe what they are seeing! Next week we will start an in depth study of apples. We will be having our first round of apple tasting Thursday, 12th. We are asking for parents to donate apples for this activity. We are in need of some sort of reddish apple, granny smiths, and yellow delicious apples. If you are able to bring a few in that would be great! If you see a cool gourd or pumpkin please bring it in for us to observe! Also a huge thank you to all the families who came to our Parent/Child Expo! We had a great turn out and hope you had fun playing and learning with your child. REMINDERS: Field Trip Money is Due FRIDAY 10/20. Have a great week, Ms. Weinberg and Ms. Moore
