What a wonderful week we have had meeting our classroom caterpillars. The preschoolers were so excited about the caterpillars that we jumped right in by observing them and discussing their life cycle. Some of our work can be seen on the bulletin board outside our classroom.

Dear Families,
Thank you for your flexibility on our Knuffle Bunny field Trip. The new date of our trip to see the play will be Wednesday May 26th. Please make sure you fill out a new field trip form with the updated trip day. Our Knuffle Bunny Celebration was a huge success! Next week we will digging into the many insect stories of Eric Carle. In the past couple of weeks the preschoolers have been pulling out all of the Eric Carle books with excitement and reading the books during reading time with their peers. We are excited to learn more about the insects and the artwork of Eric Carle. We have some very cool opportunities for families coming up that support Ray School, check out the flyers below. Reminders:
Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful mothers!! Have a great weekend! Ms. Weinberg and Mr. Phillips Dear Families,
We are still in need of: Baby Wipes, Clorox Wipes, Lysol, Paper Towels, Envelopes & Stickers, and Hand soap. Any type of donation is greatly appreciated. This week we learned about the lifecycle of a plant. We learned that plants are living things and talked about the similarities and differences between humans and plants. We also went over the parts of a plant learning new vocabulary such as soil, seed, roots, stem, leaves and flower. Ask your child to teach you our new flower song! Next week we will have a mini unit on Knuffle Bunny in preparation of our field trip to see the play on Friday. We will focus on the characters, setting, problem and solution in the story, our favorite part of the story and the similarities and differences between the three books in the series.
