This past week we have been so busy reading all different Three Little Pig Books. The students love hearing the story and noticing the similarities and differences of each story. On Friday, we celebrated Earth Day by working in the garden. Be sure to ask your preschoolers all about the hard work that they did. Next week in addition to celebrating The Week of the Young Child, we will also be learning more about plants and how they grow. Finally, since the preschoolers enjoyed the Three Little Pigs so much we might sneak in another version or two about the Three Little Pigs.
We will be very busy this upcoming week. If you would like to volunteer to help with planting or walking to the Pond please let us know. The more hands the better! Next week is the Week of the Young Child. We will be celebrating by a week of fun activities. Monday: Planting Day (Wear your gardening clothes) Tuesday: Pajama Day Wednesday: Spirit Day (wear green and white)/ Fun at Bixler Park Thursday: Botany Pond (weather permitting)/Hat Day Friday: Show and Tell (bring in a small item the child can show his or her classmates).
