We have a had wonderfully busy week in room 411! The preschoolers enjoyed decorating their valentine cards and valentine bags. We graphed the color of conversation hearts and finished out our volcano study. Finally, ending the week with fit Friday, learning about the Chinese New Year.
Next week, we will be focusing on the story the Mitten. There are two famous versions of the story one by Alvin Tresselt and Jan Brett. We will be practicing retelling, adding one on and prediction how many animal crackers can fit in different sized mittens. Please remember to pay attention to the weather as we have had some big shifts and make sure your student is dressed appropriately. We will be going outside daily as weather permits. Reminder: There is no school on Monday, February 19th I am excited and nervous to announce that I am pregnant due in August. In the past I have had higher risk pregnancies but, so far this one is looking good. I just wanted to share so that if your students come home mentioning my already large stomach you are able to answer any questions that they might have. Thank you for your understanding! Have a wonderful weekend, Ms. Weinberg and Ms. Moore
